Stone Dresser / Stone Cutting Machine

The building and construction industry in Kenya is a big lucrative one. This makes it possible for anyone interested in venturing in this industry find a niche depending with their capital capacity, area of specialization or interest. However, there are several areas you don’t need any special skills/knowledge. Stone dressing is one of those niches you can venture without any special skills. You just need a stone dresser and a little training on how to operate the machine that can take less than 10 minutes. This is a good business idea for Kenyan youths irrespective of their level of education.

Getting the market is also not hard because all you need is a strategic location or making connection with stone dealers, transporters, contractors, masons, foremen or construction handymen. You can actually start by approaching the people you may know within the construction industry like fundis(masons) among your contacts. With time if you offer high quality services/products you will be getting a lot of referrals.
